Lucky Jim - Brossura

Kingsley Amis was born in London in 1922, and educated at City of London School and St John's College, Oxford. At one time he was a university lecturer, and a jazz enthusiast. After the publication of LUCKY JIM, now a modern classic, he wrote over twenty novels, including the Booker prize winning THE OLD DEVILS (1986). He also wrote about politics, education, language, films, and restaurants. Amis received a knighthood in 1990, and died in 1995.
