Boat Troop are sent into the heart of Africa and into the middle of a viscious civil war. Most of this story is true; the rest of it could so easily have been. Boat troop are sent up river into war-torn Sierra Leone on a mission to secure a vital ore mine, The team are run from an H.Q. in the Capital. While the men battle their way up river past vicious hippo's and poisonous snakes, political events are rapidly overtaking the HQ As the balance of power swings between the Govt and rebels, HMG wavers it's intentions. Soon after Boat Troop arrive at the mine, they discover they are out on their own. The arrival of a group of men from a nearby mission only add to the problems of the team, surrounded by rebels, suspicious Government troops and without support.
