Tim Powers is the astonishingly popular author of The Anubis Gates, On Stranger Tides, The Stress of Her Regard, Last Call, which won the World Fantasy Award for Best Novel, and Expiration Date, also linked to Last Call and Earthquake Weather.  His most recent novel is Three Days to Never.  Powers lives in San Bernardino, California.

A young woman possessed by a ghost has slain the Fisher King of the West, Scott Crane.
