Paul M's exchange was a blessed breath of fresh air after a host of recent teenage boys fighting evil in all it's shapes and forms.Here we have a young adult who loves reading and spending time with his Grandmother. Nevertheless Jason is heroic as he stuggles to deal with bereavement and loss. He doesn't even get the girl although he does discover what appears to be real and lasting friendship.The story was never maudlin and the Book Exchange itself was a wonderful creation.
