Decca Aitkenhead is a journalist, writer and broadcaster. A columnist for the Guardian and Independent, she is a regular host of What the Papers Say and has written widely for magazines and journals. This is her first book.

Decca Aitkenhead was a student at Manchester University in the early 1990s at the birth of Manchester Cool, the club scene, the easy mix of music and sexuality and Ecstasy.
