Franz Xaver Kroetz is one of the most distinguished living German playwrights. He is also an actor and film director.
Conor McPherson's plays include The Night Alive (Donmar Warehouse and Atlantic Theater, New York) and The Seafarer (National Theatre and Broadway). The Weir premiered at the Royal Court Theatre and won the Olivier, Evening Standard and Critics' Circle Awards for Best Play.
