?The most eloquent commentary by far on the mood of black humour, fear, panic and bitter cynicism pervading life in the era of the War On Terrorism? The Guardian ?Why have David Rees' cartoons become a certifiable internet phenomenon, seemingly more popular than MP3s and free porn combined? I think it's because a lot of people these days have a small screaming voice buried deep down inside, a voice which simply cannot fucking believe this fucking shit... but at least we got a good comic strip out of the deal.? L'autore:
David Rees was working as a part-time freelance fact checker for Maxim magazine on 9/11. His Get Your War On comic strip debuted two days after Operation Enduring Freedom began in early October. He was laid off due to declining ad sales at the magazine in November.
