This is not a religious book...anymore than "forgiveness" or "values" or "love" are exclusively religious terms. This is a book about fundamentals and basics. Focal points. There are twelve chapters or fundamentals to master that I believe can help transform the heart of Americans and America. Each fundamental will have within it other recommended reading and reference material as an aid to ongoing mastery. I hope you find this work enjoyable and valuable but I hasten to point out this is not a game, but a way of changing the moral climate and effectiveness of our country. Things do matter. Often life feels like it is a game being played by men and women who excel at gamesmanship. "Our life in this country, the sacrifices that have been made for this country, the lives that have been given to this country, are not a game. My parents' lives were not a game."' And as my friend Charlie "Tremendous" Jones is fond of saying, "You are the message." Power has never made America or American business great. Goodness and virtue have. "All around me is the sound of moral decay. I hear the sound of America crying. And it is no game."
