Boards a bit rubbed, front hinge just starting, else a Very Good and sound copy, much better than usually seen. Ahouse: "The medieval romance, The Winning of Sarenne, comes out of Sinclair's 'potboiler' experience, which overlapped with his serious writing career by several years." This binding not described by Ahouse, who calls for either light blue or red cloth (no priority given). See also SMITH B-397, not noting Sinclair's authorship. AHOUSE A3.
